This notice explains what happens to personal data collected through this website. It covers this website only. If you become a client, the handling of data under your receivables purchase agreement is governed separately by that agreement.

The enquiry form
If you submit the form on this site, we collect the information you type into it: your name, your company, your work email address, the monthly volume band and industry you select, and anything you write in the free-text field.
Alongside that, our servers record technical information that accompanies any web request: your IP address, the network operator that IP belongs to, an approximate location derived from the IP at city level, the page that referred you, your browser's user agent string, and how many pages you viewed and for how long.
Please do not put confidential information about your customers into the free-text field. Tell us what you deliver and roughly who your debtors are; leave the specifics for a conversation under an appropriate agreement.
Why we are allowed to do this
Our lawful basis is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR. The interest is responding to a business enquiry that you initiated. We have considered your interests and concluded that a person who submits a business enquiry expects a reply, and that the technical data is limited to what our infrastructure records in the ordinary course.
You can object to this at any time by emailing us.
Where it goes
The submission is written to storage at Cloudflare, then sent to a Google Workspace mailbox and recorded in a Google Sheet that our team can see. It is not added to any marketing list, and it is not sold, shared or used for advertising.
Analytics and visitor identification
These run only if you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. Nothing in this section happens before you do, and declining costs you nothing; the site works identically either way.
Attribution
If you accept, we record for the duration of your browsing session how you arrived (the referring site and any campaign tags in the link), which page you landed on first, how many pages you have viewed and how long you have been on the site. If you then submit the form, that context is attached to your enquiry so we know where it came from. It is held in your browser's session storage and disappears when you close the tab.
Visitor identification
If you accept, we load a script from IPFingerprint, which looks up the organisation that owns your IP address and tells us which companies have visited the site. It identifies organisations, not individuals, and it does not set a cookie. Because your IP address is personal data under UK law, we treat this as requiring your consent rather than relying on legitimate interests.
In practice this loads from two IPFingerprint hosts, e2eg.co.uk and secure2trace.co.uk, and the page address and title are passed to the second of them. Both are IPFingerprint's own infrastructure. Neither is contacted at all unless you accept.
Withdrawing consent
Clear this site's data in your browser settings, which removes the stored record of your choice, and the banner will appear again on your next visit. Or email us and we will confirm what we hold and delete it.

This site sets no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking cookies. iw_consent is strictly necessary in the sense that it exists solely to record your choice, so it is set whichever option you choose.

Where a processor handles data outside the United Kingdom, the transfer relies on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or on adequacy regulations, as applicable to that provider.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so that we can pick up a conversation you resume. If you become a client, your data is then governed by the agreement between us. If you ask us to delete an enquiry, we will do so.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, or send it to someone else in a portable form. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent for anything you consented to.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you raised it with us first, but you are not obliged to.
Changes
If we change how this site handles data, we will update this notice and the date at the top. Material changes to anything you consented to will mean asking you again.
